What hours can I expect to work ?
There is no denying that your first twelve months will be a steep learning curve for you and will require dedication, passion and commitment.
The hours that you will be working really depends on you. We are all hard workers but also enjoy the social company culture on offer and recognize that a work/life balance is important. Like any sales role, ultimately, the more travel you sell the more income you will earn
A typical working day for a consultant is 10:00am – 6:00pm. You are also required to meet weekly / monthly / quarterly targets.

* How do I know which RAJ.travel office I will I be working in ?
Although our Recruitment Center will try and match you with an office as close as possible to where you live, it really depends on where we have an opening. Our recruitment consultants will discuss with you the openings we have available and try to find a suitable location that meets your needs.

* Does RTW offer any internships/work experience?
RTW does offer internships or work experience positions. These openings are usually for our accredited global travel management program. More information on the program please click here.

* In order to apply for a position at RTW, do I need a travel related qualification?
It is not essential that you have completed a Travel related course to apply for a Travel Consultant position. We are more interested in your extensive personal travel experience and your passion for sales and customer service.

* Does RTW have Travel Management programs?
We take your development seriously and our accredited Global Travel management Program is such devised to ensure your time and learning with us is as rewarding as possible. Our very own state-of-the-art learning center is charged with providing the training and tools necessary for your personal growth and career success. At the end of your development program you will be awarded a Certificate and assisted for a job.

* Is there a possibility to transfer to work in other countries with RTW ?
Yes. Once consultants or specialists have been employed for a minimum of two years and have established a reputation for dedication and success in the country where they are originally employed, they are entitled to apply for any positions within RAJ.travel worldwide.

1 Can I book accommodation through www.raj.travel ?

Yes you can! Please ask us about your accommodation within INDIA or Worldwide as we have some fantastic wholesale rates! If you wish to search for accommodation online, simply click on the Hotels tab at the top of your screen.

2 Can I book a hotel online?
Absolutely! You can search compare and book over 20,000 hotels worldwide on the RAJ.travel website. There are a range of properties on offer, from backpacker hostels to serviced apartments and 5 star resorts. You can book at the last minute or up to a year in advance. You will receive either instant confirmation, or confirmation within 48 hours, depending on the property you book. Search for accommodation now!

 

 

AIRLINE INFORMATION


3 At what age is someone eligible for a child airfare?
Children less than 2 years of age at the time of travel are referred to as 'infants' for the purposes of air travel. Children aged between 2 and 11 years of age at the time of travel are referred to as 'children' for the purposes of air travel. A www.raj.travel consultant can advise you regarding airfares for children and infants. It varies from airline to airline and whether you are traveling within India or overseas.

4 How much cabin baggage can I take with me?

Every airline has their own rules on cabin baggage allowances.
Please contact the airline to find out what luggage you can safely carry or contact our office.

 

5 How do I find information on Airlines?

We provide some answers to the most frequently asked questions. Simply search our FAQ's. If you cannot find the airline information you are looking for, please contact a www.raj.travel consultant, or alternatively, contact the airline directly.

6 What is the luggage allowance if I am traveling to Europe or the United States via Asia?
In general for economy class, if you are traveling to the USA, your luggage allowance is 2 bags (each weighing no more than 32kg) per person.If you are traveling via Asia, you are limited to 20kg per person.These limits depend also on the airline, travel class and frequent flyer status.Please check directly with your airline or your www.raj.travel consultant.

7 How do I arrange extra seat belts or a seatbelt extension?
Airlines carry seatbelt extensions and extra child/infant belts. Simply ask your Flight Attendant when boarding your flight.

8 Are there any restrictions on travel if I am pregnant?
If you are pregnant and traveling, you will need to contact the airlines directly so they can advise you of any specific restrictions and visa requirements for those countries you are visiting.

9 How can I find out information for Indian airports?
To find out more information on airports in India, please contact the airport directly or speak to a www.raj.travel consultant.

 

 

BOOKING INFORMATION
 

10. Can I cancel / amend a booking?
Yes, you can cancel / amend your booking but subject to the cancellations rules as mentioned at the time of your booking. Some airfares are non refundable and/or non changeable and/or airline charges /cancellation fees may apply. Please read the fare conditions or ask your RAJ.travel consultant at time of booking.

11. I have my reference number, can I view my itinerary online?
We have an online facility whereby you can view the itinerary, however your itinerary has been emailed to you as well at the time of booking.

12. How do I pay for my flights?
Online bookings can be paid for with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club. Bookings made through a consultant can be paid for with cash, credit card, cheque, Internet banking, etc ... Additional surcharges (if applicable) may apply.

Your consultant will advise you which payment method is appropriate and the process involved. Credit card / Internet banking conditions may apply on certain special fares.

13. When do I pay for my flights?
Payment for online bookings is taken automatically as part of the booking process. If you make a booking with a travel consultant, a non-refundable deposit of Rs.1,000 is required. Your consultant will advise final payment details at that time.

14. How do I know the terms and conditions of the airfare purchased ?
Terms and conditions differ depending on the airline and the type of ticket you have purchased. Please ask your consultant regarding details of cancellation fees, amendment fees and other terms and conditions.  For online bookings, the fare conditions will be displayed once flights are selected, and before the payment stage.

15. What if I need to cancel my booking? How do I obtain a refund/credit ?
To cancel a booking made online please call RAJ.travel consultant.Important Please Note: Airline charges and cancellation fees may apply to your particular airfare or travel arrangements and as such the airline or travel supplier in accordance with the terms and conditions will only provide refunds.

16. When will my credit card be debited?
For most bookings, the debit takes place immediately.

18. How and when do I receive my travel documents ?
For domestic bookings made on the RAJ.travel website, your email confirmation itinerary should arrive shortly after payment. For other bookings documents are requested from airlines and travel suppliers once you have paid in full.In most cases airline tickets are issued instantly or maximum within 24-48 hours. Unless otherwise requested, other travel documents are released 14 days prior to travel. We will send these documents to you by courier as well as email unless other arrangements are made.

19. How do I pick up my airline Electronic Ticket ?
E-tickets are Electronic Tickets, a convenient new way of managing your travel that removes the 'forgotten ticket' panic!You no longer need to receive or present a paper ticket to most airlines within India - when you travel on an e-ticket your details are stored in the airline system and you proceed directly to the check-in counter at the airport, present your unique PNR number, a current photo ID (drivers license or passport -for international travellers), receive your boarding pass and you are on your way.

20. Can I book online with RAJ.travel ?
Yes you can!Domestic flights, domestic and international hotels, car hire and certain specialist holidays and activities can all be booked online with a credit card.For all other enquiries, a www.raj.travel consultant will be happy to help. 

21. I know where I want to go. What do I do now ?
A RAJ.travel Consultant can help you your booking flights, holidays, accommodation and much more.

22. What if I lose my paper ticket ?
If you have lost your ticket prior to the day of travel please contact us and we will forward to you a Lost Ticket Indemnity form for completion or the e-ticket copy. This will facilitate the re-issue of your ticket.Note: some airlines usually charge a re-issue fee. If you lose your ticket on the day of departure, upon arrival at the airport contact the airline that will organize replacement.

23. Can I book tickets for travel starting from outside India ?
Yes. RAJ.travel Limited is a global company and can offer deals between many cities outside India.

24. Can I request preferred seating ?
A RAJ.travel consultant can request your preferred seating. While the airline will attempt to satisfy your seating request, no requests are guaranteed.

25. Where can I get more information about specialist activity holidays ?
A RAJ.travel consultant can help you with all your special travel requirements, whether it be for group, business, adventure, working holidays or a short break.

26. Can I book my flight with RAJ.travel using airpoints/frequent flyer points ?
Yes, we are happy to book flights for you using airpoints or frequent flyer points. However, we do charge a fee for this service.

27. Where can I find information on Working Holiday Visa's?
A RAJ.travel consultant can assist you with your holiday and working holiday plans. You can contact a consultant.

43. What is the cost of travel for a child ?
Rates for children may differ between airlines. For domestic travel children will usually pay the same rate as adults, except for infants under the age of 2 years who travel for free.  For international bookings, generally the cost per child is approx. 75% of the adult fare.

45. Can I book an Indian domestic flight with www.raj.travel ?

Yes for many destinations you can book a one-way only ticket.

47. Can I take my pet on the flight ?
Airlines have different rules and regulations regarding flying domestic pets both within India and internationally. For further information please contact your nominated airline directly.

48. Can I book a stopover ?
In many cases you can book one or more stopovers, depending on your final destination and the airline you are flying with. For further information, please contact your RAJ.travel consultant.

 

 

FOREIGN CURRENCY

49. How much currency can I take with me ?
The amount of foreign currency you can take is limited to a maximum of US$10,000 per person as per the RBI guidelines. RAJ.travel consultant can help you provide with forex services.

50. Where can I buy my foreign currency ?

51. Can I arrange a special meal to meet my dietary requirements ?
Yes, most airlines cater for a wide range of dietary requirements. You must request this at the time of booking, so please advise your RAJ.travel consultant of your specific needs.

52. How can I find out about any health warnings ?
RAJ.travel recommends that all customers check with their local Foreign Affairs Department or the particular country's High Commission for the latest information on health warnings.

 

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

54. When should I take out travel insurance ?
Prior to flying out of the country / city you are strongly advised to insure you have a valid travel insurance covered for your entire travel period. Our RAJ.travel consultant can advise you the best package suited according to your travel plan.

55. If I am pregnant, will I be covered by travel insurance ?
You can apply for Extra Cover Options by filling out the insurance form, alternatively you can speak to our RAJ.travel consultant for any latest information or changes made.

56. What do I do in the event of an emergency whilst overseas ?
If you encounter an emergency whilst overseas and have taken out an insurance policy with your RAJ.travel Consultant you can contact 24 Hour Emergency Assistance as mentioned in your travel insurance policy.

57. What happens if my luggage goes astray ?
If your luggage is lost in transit, you need to contact the airline directly.

58. Why do I need travel insurance ?
Unfortunately things can go wrong when you are traveling overseas - such as unforeseen illness, theft or property damage. RAJ.travel strongly recommends travel insurance for any trip. Travel insurance gives you peace of mind while you are traveling.

59. Can I extend my travel insurance ?
If you wish to extend your current policy you must purchase a new policy prior to the expiry of the original policy. It is not an extension of the current policy.

60. My luggage has been damaged, what should I do ?
You should contact the airline directly for assistance.

61. How do I make a claim on my travel insurance ?
You must report lost or stolen property to the police or responsible transport provider within 24 hours and/or phone the emergency assistance number as mentioned in your travel insurance policy as soon as possible.

 

 

TRAVEL TIPS

62. How much will the taxes be on my flight ?
Taxes are made up of a number of variables such as the destination you are flying to / from, departure dates, airport taxes, airline levies and fuel surcharges. These taxes are shown while you book online or your RAJ.travel consultant will calculate these and advise in their quotation. Please note, taxes are subject to change.

63. Can I use my Indian Drivers licence in other countries ?
Yes you can, however you are required to apply for an international driving permit in your home jurisdiction prior to flying out.  Certain countries may require you to undergo certain tests before being eligible to drive. Please check on with the particular country High Commission for further details.

64. What are the Indian duty/tax free allowances ?
In general, international travellers aged 18 years and over may bring into India:

2.25L alcoholic beverages (including wine, beer or spirits)
- 250 cigarettes or 250 grams of cigars or tobacco products other than cigarettes
Members of the same family who are traveling together may combine their individual duty free allowances.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains in general terms how Shree Raj Travels and Tours Limited ("RAJ Travels", "we" "our" or "us") protects the privacy of your personal information. We are firmly committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and maintain robust physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect personal information in our care.

Personal information is information or an opinion, in any form (whether true or not) about an individual whose identity is apparent or can reasonably be ascertained from the information or opinion.

How do we collect personal information?

Where practical we will collect personal information directly from you. We, however, DO NOT collect financial details like credit card number, expiry date, etc …

We are required by law to obtain your consent to the collection of sensitive information. We will assume that you have consented to the collection of all information which is provided to us for use in accordance with this Policy, unless you tell us otherwise.

When we act as agent

When we sell products and services to you, we usually do so as agent for the wholesaler or provider of those products and services. This means that we usually collect personal information about you, both for our internal purposes, and on behalf of the parties for whom we act as agent, for their internal purposes. Accordingly, the consent you provide under this statement to the collection of personal information by us, applies equally to the parties whose products and services we sell. 2. Prices, Travel Restrictions and Conditions

  3. We will endeavor to notify you of all relevant taxes, airport charges and any other additional costs when you confirm your booking with us (as at that date) but these may be subject to variation prior to your departure.
  4. You are responsible for obtaining all passport, visa and health information that you may require. We may assist you to obtain such information, however the final responsibility for obtaining the necessary information and complying with any passport, visa and health requirement remains with you.

Our role is to facilitate your travel arrangements, including processing your bookings and making payments. We are acting as an agent for third party providers. Your legal relationship in respect of the third party products and services is with the relevant third party provider.
  8. If any warranties are implied by law that cannot be excluded, then our liability for breach of such warranties is limited, at our option, to:
    1. in the case of products:
      1. the replacement of the products or the supply of equivalent products;
      2. the payment of the cost of replacing the products or acquiring equivalent products;
    2. in the case of services:
      1. the supply of the services again;
      2. the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

9. Linking

  1. We may link our Site to other sites on the World Wide Web. We are not required to maintain or update these links. These links are provided for your convenience only. It does not mean that we have reviewed these sites or that we endorse them.   1. The online booking facilities of our third party providers utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the security of all online booking transactions. SSL encryption is automatically enabled whenever the user submits confidential information to us via the Internet.
  2. Within RAJ Travels’ online booking facilities the transmission of credit card information towards the booking is done by the user directly over the bank’s payment gateway and we do not have any record or control over such transaction or transmission..

We will provide any notices to you by email to any email address provided by you. Notices will be taken to have been received 24 hours after the email is sent, unless the sending party receives notice that the address is invalid or that the email has not been received.

16. Governing law

  1. If any dispute arises about this agreement or how this agreement applies or arising out of your use of this Site, the laws of the city of Mumbai within the state of Maharashtra and in the country, INDIA will apply.
  2. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, INDIA and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

  1. If any of these Terms are invalid or unenforceable, it will be struck out, and the remaining Terms will remain in force.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not accept any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions.

Prices:

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

Travel Documents:

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. All travel documents are non transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel. Please contact your consultant the day before collection to confirm that the travel documents are ready for collection.

Schedule Changes:

It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to travel to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed.

Travel Insurance:

We can provide information to you about travel insurance. For details of the services we provide, including a quote, please refer to our Financial Services Guide. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel.

Passports & Visas:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. If you need information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip please let us know. We can obtain such information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf. We do not warrant the accuracy of such information and accept no liability for any loss or damage, which you may suffer in reliance on it. We can obtain visas for you if you wish and fees may apply for this service.

Carry-on Baggage at International Airports:

To increase your safety, there are new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on flights worldwide. These new rules are needed to protect you from the threat of liquid explosives, so please ensure you check with the visiting country embassy / airline office prior to your travel.

Health:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

Taxes:

Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation Fees:

We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are reissued.

Agency:

RAJ Travels acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transports, accommodation and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators.  RAJ Travels obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not RAJ Travels. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with RAJ Travels.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against RAJ Travels. In the event that payment has been made to RAJ Travels by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to RAJ Travels.

RAJ NATIONAL EXPRESS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

* Check-in commences 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

* Failure to show up for the coach at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure will result in the fare being forfeited, Subject to availability and payment of all applicable amounts, changes can be made to your booking as follows.

* Changes to the origin and/or destination of travel and Customer name changes are not permitted.

* Partial Changes & Re-booking to your reservation will be not be allowed.

* Cancellations to bookings may be made up to two (2) hours to the scheduled departure time would be 100 %/Twelve (12) hours to Twenty Four (24) hours to the scheduled departure time 50% per person, per segment per event/Twenty Four (24) hours prior to the scheduled departure time 20% per person, per segment per event. The balance of the original booking amount will be reverted to the credit card (if the booking is done by credit card).

* Checked Baggage allowance is 20Kg per Passenger (no baggage allowance for infants); Excess baggage-Cartons is charged at Rs 20/Kg.

* Partial Cancellations not allowed.

* In case of cancellation of a booking, made by a Raj National Express agent, refund has to be collected from that respective agent. All fares are subject to change until purchased.

* Checked Baggage allowance is 20Kg per Passenger (no baggage allowance for infants); Excess baggage-Cartons is charged at Rs 20/Kg.

* TV/DVD's are the machineries and may not work sometimes due to technical problems, so we reserve the rights of operating.

FLIGHT BOOKING POLICY
 
  • The total price displayed includes all applicable government taxes.
  • You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.
  • There will be no refund for “no–shows” or any partially unused flights.
  • To avail of infant fares, an infant must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary you are booking. This includes both onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, you‘ll need to make a separate booking using a child fare.
  • Infants must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.

 

CHECK IN
 
  • As per the airline rules, the standard check-in time begins 2 hours before departure.
  • For Air India flights the check–in time is 3 hours before departure and is at the International Terminal.
  • Infants must have valid proof–of–age documents showing that the infant is under two years old.

 

AMENDMENTS
 
  • Raj Travels can assist you with amendments to most bookings. In some cases, though, you'll need to contact the airline directly.
  • Every booking made on Raj Travels is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class. If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
  • In addition to the airline's amendment charges, Raj Travels charges an amendment charge of Rs 200 per passenger per sector.
  • We'll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We'll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
  • Depending on the airline's policy, some booked fares may not be amended.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
 
  • Every booking made on Raj Travels is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
  • Deccan Tickets are Non-Refundable (including taxes). Cancellation of Deccan Tickets must be done directly with Deccan's Call Centre. However at the time of cancellation, a request for an Open Ticket/ Voucher can be placed. Rs. 500 (per person) will be deducted from the ticket value and the balance amount will be held in the form of an Open Ticket/ Voucher, in the name of the passenger(s). The Open Ticket/ Voucher is not transferable.
  • If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
  • On top of the airline's cancellation charges, there is a Raj Travels service fee of Rs 200 for all cancellations per passenger per sector.
  • For e–tickets, if your cancellation request is made less than 4 hours before departure, you'll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation cancelled

 

REFUNDS
 
  • With the exception of Air Deccan/Spice Jet & Indigo Airlines, it is mandatory to cancel the tickets online, as the airline will not be able to refund your tickets booked at raj.travel .Deccan tickets are NON refundable.
  • Refunds depends upon the cancellation policy which may differ Airline wise.

Passport Info

 

PASSPORT INFORMATION
A passport is a very important document. It should be kept upto date by renewing it before it expires. Its loss should be reported immediately to the local police authorities and also to the nearest Indian Embassy / Consulate General.

Indian passports can be renewed any time from one year before, to six months after the actual date of expiry. If the passport is already ten years old and has finally expired, a new passport will be issued. Final expiry is indicated on the passport by the letter "F" or the word "Final" mentioned after the date of expiry on the passport. Three passport size photographs are to be submitted along with the application duly filled in for issuance of a new passport booklet. In case there is any change in appearance, one of these photographs should be duly attested by a Notary Public. However, if the passport has not expired finally, the same booklet is renewed.

The forms for renewal of Indian passports and for issuance of new passport booklets are different and appropriate forms are required to be filled in. All applicants for passport services are also required to submit photocopies of their Resident Alien Cards or proof of their lawful residence in USA. Passports of visitors can be extended only for a short period to facilitate their return to India.

DUPLICATE PASSPORTS
The issuance of duplicate passports in lieu of lost or damaged passports is handled under a special procedure. A duplicate passport can only be issued to an applicant on confirmation of the particulars of the lost passport from the original Passport Issuing Authority and receipt of the clearance of the Ministry of External Affairs. All applicants for duplicate passports must fill out
(i) one copy of the new passport application form and
(ii) six copies of 'Personal Particulars Proforma'.
These forms must be filled in correctly, completely and legibly. Generally it takes at least eight to ten weeks to obtain confirmation of passport particulars and the clearance from the Government of India. However, if one pays fax charges, telegraphic references are made. Paying fax charges cannot guarantee issuance of a duplicate passport within any fixed time-frame.

EMERGENCY CERTIFICATE
Emergency certificates are one-way travel documents to return to India and are generally issued to visiting Indians who lose their passports or to people who need to be deported. However, such certificates can be issued if the Indian citizenship of the person is confirmed.

MISCELLANEOUS PASSPORT & CONSULAR SERVICES
Applicants for miscellaneous Passport and Consular services are required to fill out a 'Miscellaneous Service' form and submit their passports along with photocopies of their Resident Alien Cards or proof of lawful residence in the foreign country.

 ENDORSEMENT OF CHILD'S NAME
On either parent's passport but it is necessary to send passports of both parents and a photocopy of the child's birth certificate. A child may be endorsed in one of the parent's passport only if the father was an Indian national at the time of the child's birth and if the child does not hold a passport of another country. (Documentary evidence to this effect would be required i.e., either a resident alien card or an 'A' number endorsement for the child on either parent's passport.

 CHANGE OF FIRST NAME/FULL NAME
An applicant has to submit (a) a Court Order from a court in India or a notarized affidavit. (b) a newspaper clipping of notice in the city of applicant's domicile in the foreign country. (c) a newspaper cutting of notice in the state of the applicant's domicile in India.

CHANGE TO MARRIED NAME
An applicant is required to enclose a copy of the marriage certificate, a sworn affidavit giving maiden and married names duly notarized by a Notary Public and the husband's passport. In case the first name also changes after marriage, additional requirements as indicated in
"Change of First Name / Full Name" are to be met.

SENDING HUMAN REMAINS
A copy of the death certificate and a letter from the mortuary stating that the body has been embalmed properly and hermetically sealed in a casket is required to be attested by the Consulate. For sending an urn containing human ashes, a copy of the death certificate and a letter from the crematorium stating that the urn contains nothing else but the cremated remains of the deceased and that it has been sealed properly should be authenticated by the Consulate. The Indian passport of the deceased should also be cancelled

TIME TAKEN FOR CONSULAR AND PASSPORT RELATED SERVICES COUNTER APPLICATIONS
Except for issuance of New Indian Passports, other services like renewal of a passport, issue of a Birth, Life or a Police Clearance Certificate, endorsement of child's name, etc. can be given the same day if it is otherwise in order and the applicant applies at the counter before 12.00 noon. Processed documents / passports are returned the same day between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm. New Indian Passports issued on the expiry of old passports which expired recently are given the next working day between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm.

OVERNIGHT MAIL APPLICATIONS
Applications received through overnight mail are processed on a priority basis and the passports and services documents are returned by overnight mail provided an overnight mailing charge is paid to the Consulate in addition to the normal fee. It normally takes two/three working days to process such cases
CERTIFIED / REGISTERED MAIL APPLICATIONS
Applications received by certified or registered mail are processed within 7 working days and returned by certified mail only. A self-addressed and stamped certified mail envelope or additional amount (as required) may be enclosed.
OBTAINING FORM
Renewal, Miscellaneous Services and New Passport application forms are distributed free of cost. These forms can also be freely duplicated. The application forms can be downloaded from web sites at the following address:

Forms can also be obtained from the Consulate by sending a request in writing and enclosing a self-addressed and stamped envelope. These can also be obtained from the Indian Associations and some Travel Agencies.

All tours in this brouchure are operated by Raj Travels.When a booking is made, which is accepted by us, it constitutes a contract between you and Raj.All bookings are taken on the basis that you accept these terms and conditions.We are travel organisers only.We do not control or operate any Airline,neither do we own or control any shipping company,coach or coach company, hotel ,transport or any other facility or service mentioned in this brouher. We take care in selecting all the ingredients in your holiday, but because we only select and inspect them and have no other control in the in running we cannot be held responsible for any injury,death ,loss or damage,or deficiency in services which is caused by act or default of management or employees of an independent contractor arising outside our normal selection and independent contractor arising outside our normal selection and inspection process.(The contract and the disputes,if any will be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A non-refundable and interest free deposit of Rs.10,000/- (USD 200 in case of direct joining passengers)per person is required to be paid by the passenger at the time of booking/registration which should be done at least 60 days prior to the date of departure.Full payment should be made 60 days prior to the date of departure.The registration amount is non-adjustable against any other tour or service.

PRICES
Any increase in air/rail fare or taxes prior to the date of departure or change in exchange rates or increase in visa fees will have to be borne by the passenger.

ACCOMMODATION
All tours ,planned itineraries and package plans are based on using twin or double accommodation. In order to keep our price as low as possilble,tour holidays are based on efficient use of transport and hotels and these arrangements are planned many months in advance.To maintain this efficiency it may be necessary on occasions to make some alterations to your holiday arrangements.

TAXES
In case of group inclusive tours, taxes are inclusive. Certain hotels charge a security deposit on check in, which is refundable on check out after deducting any expense incurred by the passengers. All passengers are liable to pay this deposit.

The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages,loss,injury,accidents,death,delay,breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement.(In the event of a passenger falling ill or suffering any accident during the journey,all hospital expenses,doctor's fees,repatriation expenses and any other charges incurred as a direct result of his/her illness/accident are the responsibility of the passenger.) Management delay orchanges in train, airplane ,bus,ship or any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passenger.

CANCELLATION
In the event that a tour participant cancels his/her booking,the following fees become payable.Note:the above will hold good only on presentation of the original receipt.Transfer from one tour to another will be treated as a cancellation.(Note : All cancellations must be received in writing and signed by the tour participant,who made the booking.In case you have to withdraw from a tour after it has begun for reasons such as illness, be sure to obtain a medical certificate in support of any insurance claim.We regret that we are not able to make refunds for absences from a tour or for any missed sightseeing. Costing and airfare for all tours is based on departure from Mumbai, unless mentioned. Passengers opting for boarding flights form other places will have to pay the airfare difference (if any),and will have to bear expenses of airport to hotel and vice - versa transportation with no reduction in this price on this amount. The facility of offering the option of boarding the flight from other places will be solely at our discretion. We,in no circumstances,will be liable for any loss of baggage,goods,airtickets,passport,cash,travellers cheques,or any other travel documents or item owned by the passenger while on tour,however caused.No refund is permissible on partially unutilized air tickets or ground arrangements.

BROCHURE ACCURACY
The information given in the broucher is as accurate as we can make it.Our broucher descriptions are of amemties normally available.However ,circumstances can change due to any events beyond our control.Major road works/blocks may necessitate route changes.
